Rebecca Zimmerman, LPC, MT-BC
Licensed Professional Counselor & Board-Certified Music Therapist
Rebecca Zimmerman is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Music Therapist who offers a warm, relational, and integrative approach to therapy. She holds a Master’s degree in Music Therapy and Counseling from Immaculata University and is trained in a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities that guide her work with clients.
Rebecca works with children, adolescents, and adults, providing both in-person sessions and online counseling across Pennsylvania. She supports individuals navigating depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, autism spectrum disorder, and dual diagnoses. She is dedicated to creating a safe, grounded, and collaborative environment where clients feel supported and understood.
While Rebecca is professionally trained in music therapy, it is not her primary modality. Instead, she incorporates music-based or creative approaches only when they align with therapeutic goals and only if clients are comfortable and interested. Her work is rooted primarily in traditional talk therapy, emotional processing, and evidence-based interventions, with creative techniques used as optional enhancements rather than a requirement of treatment.
Rebecca is committed to whole-person care and takes time to understand the emotional, cognitive, and relational needs of each individual she works with. She partners with patients to deepen self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting well-being. Through compassionate support and an integrative therapeutic style, she is honored to walk alongside individuals and families at every stage of life.
