JORDAN SWITZER, LCSW
Jordan Switzer is a therapist in Wayne PA and a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Cornerstone Therapy & Wellness. She provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. Jordan also offers secure online therapy sessions for individuals across Pennsylvania. She has more than 10 years of experience working in the mental health field and supporting individuals through difficult emotional experiences.
She works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and major life transitions. Many people seek therapy when they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about the next step in life. Jordan helps clients better understand these experiences and develop practical ways to move forward.
Jordan believes therapy works best when individuals feel truly seen and understood. She creates a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients can safely explore their experiences. Her approach is person-centered, collaborative, and strengths-based. By meeting each person where they are, Jordan helps clients build on their existing strengths while developing new tools for coping and growth.
She has completed additional training in grief and loss and is especially passionate about helping individuals process and heal through all forms of loss. She often works with clients experiencing emotional overwhelm, relationship stress, and periods of significant life change. Her goal is to help individuals develop resilience, clarity, and greater emotional balance.
Additionally, she integrates several evidence-based approaches into therapy. These include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based strategies. These approaches help individuals better understand their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier patterns.
Jordan also values the connection between mind and body. She incorporates this perspective into her work as a certified yoga instructor (RYT-200). In addition, she has training in Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), which allows her to offer a more holistic and integrative perspective when supporting clients.
