EBONY JOHNSON, PSY.D. (POST-DOCTORAL PSYCHOLOGY RESIDENT)

I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Immaculata University and my Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Kutztown University. With over ten years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults on concerns such as anxiety, depression, OCD, self-esteem, school issues, peer issues, and relationship challenges. I enjoy working with clients across the lifespan, from school-age children through adulthood, and I strive to provide developmentally appropriate care at each stage of life. My goal is to help people recognize the power of small, meaningful changes that can create lasting improvements in their well-being. I draw on evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring these tools to meet each client’s unique needs. My style is warm, accepting, and collaborative. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a true partnership, one that validates your current situation while also encouraging growth in areas where you feel stuck. I know it takes courage to begin therapy, and I consider it an honor to support clients as they take these necessary steps toward healing and living a more fulfilling life.
