DR. ALLEN RAND COLEMAN, PH.D

I am a graduate of Hahnemann University, where I obtained my clinical psychology training, specializing in neuropsychology. I also completed a two-year fellowship in the Department of Neuropsychiatry at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. I enjoy working with adults, adolescents, children, and families. I am trained in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, attachment-based therapy, and parenting techniques. My experience includes working with a large behavioral health organization in Pennsylvania, where I focused on treating people with anxiety, depression, stress, ADD/ADHD, PTSD, school-based issues, and relationship challenges.

I also specialize in and treat children with Autism, intellectual disability, and severe behavior problems. I am a certified Theraplay trainer and supervisor. Theraplay aids in helping families develop better relationships with their autistic children/siblings and is integrated with other modalities, such as picture communication programs (e.g., PECS), the teaching of daily life skills, positive behavioral supports, and community integration practice. I also provide neuropsychological evaluations, ADD/ADHD testing, individual, couple, and family therapy.
