D’Arcy McCaughan, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with years of experience in mental health therapy and substance use treatment. I am passionate about helping individuals, couples, and groups navigate life’s challenges, I provide compassionate, evidence-based therapy. After earning my MSW from Bryn Mawr Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, I began my career as a full-time counselor providing therapy for Medicaid and Medicare populations. I later worked as a Primary Therapist at a recovery center that specialized in mental health and substance use therapy for adults. I provide individual, couples, and group therapy for a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, stress management, depression, mood disorders, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use recovery, self-esteem, and personal growth. While we can't always control our circumstances, we can change how we perceive and respond to them. My approach is warm, engaging, and nonjudgmental, allowing clients to feel safe and supported throughout their healing journey. Using a strength-based, cognitive-behavioral approach, I help clients challenge negative thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and foster self-awareness and empowerment. I am here to support you if you're seeking a trusted therapist who provides a safe space for healing and personal growth. Let’s work together to help you become the best version of yourself.
