ANGEL MYERS, MA, NCC, LPC

I pride myself in offering a safe, welcoming, understanding, and confidential space for clients of all ages to explore their strengths and use those strengths to meet their desired areas of improvement within their daily functioning. I am passionate about providing an integrative, holistic, collaborative, encouraging, and empathetic approach to the counseling journey. If you are reading this and thinking about receiving counseling services, please know you are brave, and you deserve connections to support and resources for a healthier way of living. I believe my clients need someone to encourage them to maintain their strengths and challenge them to develop insight and motivation towards their areas of improvement and treatment goals through individual, family, and couples counseling sessions.

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from West Chester University in 2015 and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Immaculata University in 2018. Over the years of providing exceptional counseling services at a non-profit organization for children, adolescents, adults, and their families, I have had the privilege to work with a diverse population of clients ranging from 2 to 58 years of age with a variety of presenting mental health diagnoses and symptoms, especially Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, ODD/Conduct Disorders, PTSD, grief/loss, anxiety, depression, stress, self-esteem, and suicidality. I specialize in providing an evidence-based therapeutic model known as Parent-Child Interactive Therapy (PCIT). PCIT is integrative and therapeutic coaching model for children and their parents to increase emotional regulation, behavioral regulation, compliance, communication skills, and relationship while using play therapy, attachment therapy, and behavioral interventions.
