Shelby Milne, LPC

I hold a Master’s degree in Sport Psychology from Ithaca College and a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Pennsylvania. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), my approach is rooted in curiosity and connection, striving to understand each individual’s unique experiences. With a background in athletics, I emphasize a strength-based approach to help clients build self-agency and confidence in their personal and professional pursuits. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families, supporting them through various life challenges. My clinical expertise includes treating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationship issues, trauma, substance use disorders, and general life stressors. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs, integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, Somatic Therapy, and Attachment-Based Therapy. I am deeply inspired by those who take courageous steps toward personal growth, and I am committed to continuously evolving my practice to support my patients best.
